Backups - to start at specific time

Hi,

Is it possible to start a backup at e.g. 10am, by this I don’t mean ‘lets kick off a cron job at 10am’ but rather irrespective of cron timings, the backup when initiated would internally begin backing up based on the state of the database(in the past) at 10am ?

I know we can :-

BACKUP...AS OF SYSTEM TIME '-10s';

Maybe some variation of the above command?

Parminder

Indeed. The BACKUP ... AS OF SYSTEM TIME will gladly accept a timestamp. For example:

BACKUP DATABASE defaultdb TO 'nodelocal://1/defaultdb' AS OF SYSTEM TIME '2020-04-27 23:03:00';

Just what I needed …Thanks Andrew.
