Discrepancy between kubectl top and UI

I am running the ycsb workload. In the UI it reports 30 cpus while kubectl top reports something completely different with cpu usage.

kubectl top pod -n stage|grep cockroach
stage-cockroachdb-cockroachdb-0 10685m 20948Mi
stage-cockroachdb-cockroachdb-1 11762m 17531Mi
stage-cockroachdb-cockroachdb-2 11279m 20877Mi
stage-cockroachdb-cockroachdb-3 9704m 20369Mi
stage-cockroachdb-cockroachdb-4 11219m 20184Mi

The UI is reporting 30cpcus per pod

Hey @jhops,

Sorry for the delay here. Any chance you could share your yaml file with us? I’d like to see how you’ve configured your pods.

Thanks,

Ron

Sure. I just uploaded the values.yaml that we use for deploying the cr pods. I just enabled secure a couple days ago and re deployed the cluster, but I did not change anything else

Hey @jhops,

Where did you upload the yaml file? I didn’t see it in the drive folder that was provided by Andrew.

Thanks,

Ron
