How to disable triggers while loading data?

While trying to load data, generated with pg_dump from a postgres source database I get errors because there are many referential constraints, that are not satisfied because the data is not all loaded yet.
Some tables refer to themselfves.
How can I disable the foreign key constraints while loading data to prevent those errors?

Currently you’d need to create the tables without the constraints (or drop them), load the data, then re-add the constraints (running validate on them afterwards). In the near term I think we might be adding the ability to defer constraints until commit, which helps with e.g. self-referential tables, but I don’t think we have anything tracking the ability to just disable a constraint without dropping it.
