Is it possible to retry transaction on different node?

Hi team, my use case is that

When running a long transaction (take days), at the commit, database node application connected to is down, is it possible to retry it on a different node ?

  1. no it’s not possible to use the CockroachDB retry protocol using two different SQL connections. You’re free to re-play your transaction from scratch though.
  2. CockroachDB does not really support transactions that last that long. I doubt you will be able to commit most transactions that last more than 10mn.
