Is this is still possible: setting ttlseconds

echo ‘gc: { ttlseconds: 600 }’ | cockroach zone set .default --insecure --echo-sql -f -

I am getting error

Hi @thstart,

I just tested on the latest 2.1 alpha release and was able to adjust the ttlseconds setting like that:

$ echo 'gc: { ttlseconds: 600 }' | cockroach zone set .default --insecure --echo-sql -f -
> SELECT * FROM crdb_internal.node_build_info
> BEGIN
> SAVEPOINT cockroach_restart
> ALTER RANGE default EXPERIMENTAL CONFIGURE ZONE e'gc: { ttlseconds: 600 }\n'
> SELECT config_yaml FROM [EXPERIMENTAL SHOW ZONE CONFIGURATION FOR RANGE default]
> RELEASE SAVEPOINT cockroach_restart
> COMMIT
range_min_bytes: 1048576
range_max_bytes: 67108864
gc:
  ttlseconds: 600
num_replicas: 3
constraints: []

Can you share the error you’re getting and the version you’re on?

Best,
Jesse

Hi Jesse,

I tried with
–host= and now it worked

OK, great. Glad to hear that.

Hi Jesse,

Could you please help with one other issue?

@thstart, just seeing your last request. Sorry for not seeing it earlier. Do you still need help with something?
